~Skepticism~ ‘The Good The Bad And the Responsible’

In the ‘Feel Good’ Society we find ourselves in, it is easy to write off … any need to evaluate what is really going on.

Looking at all the Negative things that present themselves daily, will not be within the scope of what we will want to address in this post. Have you ever stopped long enough, to evaluate all … well maybe not all, as this would take to long, … … … to evaluate the negative, … … well, Lets just say, what each one of us would consider as negative, …Those things that happen around us, ‘Day In & Day Out’? … … … I bet you were wondering IF, I was EVER gonna get that thought out!

Allow me to hone in on “Skepticism” today and PLEASE, … go ahead and RUN WITH IT, so when I bring this thought to it’s culmination, you will already be there, with whether you agree or not.

Innovations NORMALLY COME UP AGAINST SKEPTICISM inasmuch as; they contravene personal and social credence. Established beliefs are so compelling and forceful, that wars are and will be fought over them.

They become THE foundational base for philosophies, psychology, political systems, and even medical concepts to develop and yes new Religions.

Some ENJOY their own Memorials! … … … SOMETIMES THEY ARE ONLY IMAGINARY TALES and are not even true. We just hope and think that they are.

Nevertheless, … … … for a moment, let us look at “The Good” that is derived from some of it!

Skepticism to Innovations is usually resistance to change. Including, “it’s too good to be true” attitude… or “That sounds too Spooky” or anything that resembles that… and so forth, … … … This is Healthy and GENERALLY … to be expected. SEVERELY scrutinizing “New Concepts” need to be the norm. … … It will make them stronger in the over all, … should they prove to prevail.

EVEN When one possesses a MAJOR development that is founded on the most convincing of known axioms, being contrary to TRADITIONAL understandings, … will always and expectantly be met with skepticism.

Now, as we segue into “The Bad”!

We may as well start here with my standard Response:
“You can always tell a skeptic, BUT you cannot tell them very much!”

There are many more and no doubt you may come up with a few yourself. … … … Allow that to suffice, as I would like to move on to the main reason that I have been giving this so much thought.
As I am being blessed, with becoming ‘MORE’ knowledgeable, it in itself makes me ‘MORE’ aware to be ‘MORE’ “Responsible”. … … … To many times in the past, I have just passed on by an auspicious opportunity to make a difference, because of my intolerance to skepticism.

Almost a case of ‘The Pot Calling The Kettle Black’!

Having studied ‘Skepticism’ to this degree allows me to back up and NOT Write the Skeptic Off and leave another opportunity to minister to them at another time, … … … many of the times with the very innovation or new concept, … they would not have a part of before.

Albeit now IT IS your turn! Tell me where you believe that I am wrong … or maybe you were already there, waiting on me to get to The Conclusion. Whatever your outcome, Do Not become Hoodwinked to The Truth and be continually Blessed,as I am about my FATHER’s Business!

Where Is Your Blog?

Some of you have not started with a Blog yet. What is a Blog? Probably in short, a Blog is a Web Journal or weB LOG. Many out there, so lets get started with a Couple That Are FREE! AGAIN Read Through before you start.

Today we will look at WordPress, so lets go to: www.wordpress.com/
WordPress Brings up a page with this: “Express yourself. Start a blog.” So we click on: “Sign Up Now!”

Now fill out this one-step form, starting with user name: You may as well fill out the whole form and then may have to change some things because they have already been taken &/or used.

e.g. I had to change the E-Mail address 3 times to find one that was not already being used for a WordPress Blog. You can have as many Blogs as you need with the same E-Dress though for this exercise I wanted o start from scratch, as to document this lesson for you who are brand new.

You may have to try a couple times to get a User Name that is not already gone too.

Choose a password and WordPress will help and suggest, so you are using a secure password. Then Confirm it.

I keep a NotePad .txt File for my Sites, Forums, etc to keep track of Users names & PassWords. Or you can Use ‘MS Word’ and keep them in a .doc file

Enter an active e-mail address, click the ‘Legal flotsam’ that you have read ‘The Fine Print’ make sure default, ”Gimme a blog’ button is active and click on next! Leave the Defaults unless you would like to change or ‘Dress Up’ the ‘Blog Title’. Make sure the Privacy is clicked, so the Search Engines can find you. Click on ‘Sign Up’. You now have a page that tells you, “Check Your Email to Complete Registration”

Now go to your e-mail account and click on the link to activate your Blog! Walla! Now back to your Blog Page and you may have to log back in. … Now where did you put that ‘User Name and Password’?

Click on ‘Dashboard’ at top of page and now you are ready to “Blog Away”! OK! Now go back and do it for real! When you get it going, go ahead and play with it and in another lesson we will change a few things so it will be personal for you.

Training Your Time!

Even when you are first staring out and maybe not ‘Broke’, Yet ‘Badly Bent’ you have one valuable resource at hand that you need to consider.  It is the un-reclaimable, yet Dailey renewing time of your day.

When starting up I knew of no way to get things started, let alone get them done, except to ‘Do It Myself’!  At the beginning, it was a mater of searching for ‘The Freebie’ and then concentrating on putting it into action.  Just like the TinyURLs & SnipUrls, that we have just covered, there was mistakes & errors to overcome for every endeavor.

Did you ever consider outsourcing you might ask?  To this question, my response to you is, I was wondering when you would come up with that one!  There is not a whole lot of room to work around the ‘Badly Bent’ situation and like so many of you had not learned to be innovating, as my creative juices were being depleted in finding more time to learn & do even more.

Should building an On Line business been my only concern, during the trek that I was experiencing, it may have been somewhat easier.  While trying to squeeze it into existence, there was, the on going challenges of making sure the bills were being paid.  Making sure all the ‘Honey Do’s’ were completed and of course the Blessings of being a Father and Grandfather, which have no other issues that would have been a priority that could or would interrupt their attention.

Now keep in mind that there are the on going telephone calls of social and business importance that need to be attended to, as well as the E-Mails that had to be De-Spammed. Oh Lord have Mercy, when Instant Messenger and Google Talk, became a regular part of the day, when in arms length of the computer.

How is anyone going to get anything accomplished, let alone build an OnLine Business?  It is after all the mistakes and learning curves are gone thru, that one will find answers to those time consuming needs.

Book Burnings for Pagan Christianity! Important News.

Interesting development in the making. I just received a post that Book Burning is not just a thing of the past. It may be written off as promotional hype, yet it caught my eye as I have been writing a series on “The Value Of Books” on our sister web page Book Wealth. I read the original Pagan Christianity by Frank Viola 3 or 4 years ago, and it opened my eyes to a lot of things that are a part of TheTraditional Church today. In fact I started a Spiritual Blog, called Won Preacher’s Thoughts with a remark about ‘The Traditional Church ‘ and somewhat in line with Frank’s … … … ‘Position’, (For lack of a better word.) Book Burnings and Other Such Things …

A heart-felt “thank you” to all of you who have written me such encouraging emails and letters regarding the new book, “Pagan Christianity.” I’m so glad it’s having such an impact on so many people.

If you’re following the Blogosphere, you are aware that many are writing great reviews on Pagan Christianity while others are doing their dead-level best to prevent people from reading it. (Some of which are by people who haven’t even read the book.)

Right now, some people are saying ( rather loudly) that they want this book to “go away” and “disappear.” And they are working hard at persuading people NOT to buy the book. There are even rumors about book-burnings afoot. George and I have been called a few names, including “anti-Christs” by some who hate the book. …

I can understand how people think differently about different things. Yet to even use the term, ‘Book Burning’ sends chills down my back, now that I have become aware, not just of the Intrinsic Value, but also of the different kinds of Wealth that are a part of every book.
